Corpectomy Spacer

- After vertebrae is removed according to necessary treatment, the adjacent endplates will be prepped and then an expandable vertebral body replacement implant will be placed in the space , with it’s mechanical support the bone grows and fusion occurs .
- Afterwards internal fixation may be used to act as a stabilization device (internal brace) to help hold everything in place while fusion occurs.
